IHG - Chase Rewards Branding

The IHG - Chase Rewards Branding project involved designing a web-first branding for the Chase IHG Rewards Club bonus points offer, a collaborative effort with Chase Bank and IHG aimed at encouraging high-end travelers, particularly business travelers, to adopt the rewards card and increase their stays at IHG hotels. The design process included creating a site flow, highlighting diverse IHG properties, conceptualizing and building the site, preparing assets for localization, and creating deliverables such as landing pages, banner ads, and membership interior webpages. Key visuals featured prominently displayed bonus points alongside the Chase IHG Premier Rewards Club credit card and vibrant hotel backdrops. The project involved collaboration with a Creative Lead, Business Account Manager, Copywriter, Graphic Designer, and Localization and Coding teams, using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.

The main challenge was generating engagement and interest in the new offer, which was tackled by selecting a wide range of high-end properties that appealed to American sensibilities while representing their regions' unique charm. The outcome was a collection of eye-catching deliverables, featuring a "Learn More" button for immediate engagement and images of the Chase credit card against enticing hotel backdrops. While the project's further outcomes are unknown, it was well-received by Chase and IHG, and the visually engaging, crisp, and informative design is expected to have a strong impact on the target audience, encouraging more travelers to take advantage of the rewarding offer.
