Intrigue Magazine

Intrigue Magazine was initially a personal digital magazine project created by a former designer, which was then expanded into a full-department, luxury digital magazine under my team’s direction. The revamped edition included city events, relevant topics (both real estate and non-real estate), and a selection of agent listings for the Atlanta metro area homeowners, renters, and home shoppers. The project aimed to increase readership, enhance design quality, diversify and improve content quality, and augment collaboration and output from the Marketing department. The design process involved brainstorming, article gathering, assigning articles to designers, determining overall font, color, and layout considerations, assembling the final articles into a magazine layout, and publishing to a digital platform

Despite challenges such as maintaining interest throughout the magazine, enhancing the magazine’s business benefits, and ensuring quality within tight timelines, solutions were implemented to overcome these hurdles. These included incorporating interactive content, expanding the magazine to include hyper-relevant information for the target audience, and streamlining the process to produce work timely without sacrificing quality. As a result, each magazine release received consistent praise and became a significant talking point for agents to differentiate themselves from other offices and brokerages. Moreover, user engagement, as measured by open rates and read time, improved by a consistent 25% following the new iteration of Intrigue Magazine.
